£410 for a season ticket

Many fans are unhappy about these changes. Swindon need the money, but many fans are unable to afford to pay.

A seat in the centre of the Nationwide stand last season cost £299 if paid for before the end of May, but next season looks like being £410, and increase of £111.

Tickets in the Town End are going to be £13, but there will be no season tickets for this stand, and with less than 2,000 seats in the Town End it looks like this stand will sell out every game.

Many season ticket holder's have said they won't be buying a new season ticket, and instead are looking towards clubs like Cheltenham, Bristol City, Bristol Rovers, Southampton and Reading instead.

Can Swindon really afford to lose this many loyal fans? If it was £300, and 3,000 fans got a season ticket, then the club would make £900,000, but at £410 they will be lucky to get 1,500 fans paying £410, so will only get £615,000.

I hope they know what they are letting themselves in for.
