Big Ron Sacked Again

Sky were due to show the documentary at the end of the season, but Swindon ended the filming early as Iffy Onoura felt it was taking up too much time, and the documentary crew wanted access to more than Swindon were prepared to give them.

Onoura said: "I was willing to see if there was anything I could learn from Ron Atkinson, but we never had a proper opportunity to build a proper relationship."

Mark Devlin said: "Once it became apparent that Iffy was not totally confortable with the situation, we thought it would be best to bring things to a halt now, which we hope will leave North One with time to find an alternative club."
