One to watch - John Hills
Described by manager Steve McMahon as ‘Forest Gump’ because he never stops running. Pool signed Hills from Everton in February 1998, after a successful loan spell. The player had also been a trainee at Bloomfield Road. Since then he has played at both left back and left midfield, although many see his best position as the one further up the field. Has been linked with several top clubs, and at the age of 24, may yet play at a much higher level.
