Heaton joined Swindon on loan back in August has cover for Rhys Evans who was unable to play as he needed to have an operation. Heaton played in goal eevry game until November when he was sent off against Boston in the FA Cup.
For the past few weeks Heaton has sat on the bench since Evans has returned to the first team, so Heaton is no longer needed at the County Ground.
Onoura said: "Tom will be going back to Manchester United. Rhys has taken over as number one, and they want him to be playing first team football."
