King Won't Quit

Swindon have lost the last 3 league games, and have already been knocked out of the Carling Cup to League Two side Wycombe.

There have been more and more calls for King to be sacked, but he has said he won't quit.

King said: "Better managers have gone before me and been sacked and there's worse managers in employment still.

"I'm not walking away I've got a job, I've got a family, I've got a contract. If the club makes that decision through the fans than it's up to them. I can assure anyone here, and I'll say it publicly, I'm not walking away. If they want to make the decision than give me a call."

Chairman Willie Carson has said that King's job is safe for now, but has hinted that if things don't improve then the board may have to rethink his position.
