Mooney left Swindon a year ago after refusing accept a one year deal, and instead joined Oxford who also gave him a one year deal.

He was offered a new contract at Oxford after scoring 15 goals for them this season, but it was on reduced wages, so he turned it down, and instead the 33 year old has been signed by ex Swindon manager John Gorman at Wycombe.

Gorman said: "He's been a prolific scorer in this league, and in higher leagues for a long time, and he's a player I've always admired."
