The club have rejected bids from Crewe and Watford as they were too low. The club have said they want over £1m for Parkin if they are to sell him this summer. Parkin has also been linked with a move to QPR in the past week, alomg with around ten other clubs.
The club have also been looking to try and extend Parkin's contract at Swindon to keep him at the club after the end of the 2005/6 season when his current deal expires.
Sandy Gray said: "Sam has been an integral part of our club for three seasons now, scoring over seventy goals in the process. Why would we want to let him go?"
