The striker is being released by Sheffield Wednesday, and wants to be based further south, but has also been linked with a move to Chesterfield or Walsall.

Reports from walsall suggest he has decided that Swindon would be a better choice for him as its nearer to his family home.

He's 29 years old and has scored 3 goals for Sheffield Wednesday in 20 starts so far this season, and between 2000 and 2003 he was scoring an average of 16 goals a season whilst playing for Bristol City.
