Ruddock...On His Way
Ruddock only played 15 times for Swindon in a three month spell between September and December 2001 where in his final game he was sent off against Notts County. He has never played whilst Andy King has been manager at the club.

Mark Devlin said: ‘With only fifteen appearances for us he has been paid the equivalent of over £13,000 per game, we could have probably got Beckham for that sort of money."

Swindon have agreed to pay Ruddock about £200,000 which covers all his back payand part of his wages for the rest of his contract. He will now leave the club by the end of the year. This will now have left Swindon with no money left from the £140,000 they got for playing Oxford in the FA Cup.

Mark Devlin said: "The Club are now looking forward to concentrating on consolidating and improving our position in the League. The last few months have been a costly distraction and now we can look to put them behind us, and also move forward for the future."
