Smith Hoping for a new Contract

Smith has started to score goals, after spending most of the season in the reserves or on the bench, but he has now scored six goals in the last nine games, including the winner in Saturday's 2-1 win against Oldham.
King said: “Smith has probably blossomed more than anyone at this moment in time, there’s no doubt about it and that’s why he is staying in the team."
Smith is now hoping that he will be offered a new contract when he sits down to talk with Andy King in the next couple of months.
