Davis moved to Luton in the summer after his contract run out at Swindon, but because he is under 24 the Bosman ruling doesn't apply to him, so Swindon would entitled to demand a fee for him.

Swindon wanted £150,000, and Luton wanted to pay £50,000, but today's tribunal ruled that Luton should pay £60,000 up front, and another £45,000 later based on appearances.
