Irish Under 21 Mark Yeates has been training with Swindon for the past few days, but Andy King hasn't yet decided if he will take him on a season long loan or not.
King said: "He's here training with us and a decision needs to be made.
"How I am going to fit him into my side is another matter and that is my decision to be made over the weekend"
I wanted to take the opportunity to bring him here and give him the chance to get some first team football and strengthen the squad. However, the timing of the deal was right four weeks ago and I'm not sure it is right now.
"Four or five weeks ago when I didn't have many available to me would have been prefect for this type of deal. Now I'm back to full strength and I have a decision to make."
Spurs have said that as part of the deal they want Yeates to play every single game for Swindon, but King doesn't want to change a winning side.
Yeates played one game for Spurs last season, playing in the final game of the season, he also played nine times for Brighton whilst on loan there last November.
