5,160 fans turned up including about 750 from Reading.
Reading took the lead on the half hour mark with a goal from Leroy Lita from 12 yards out.
On 41 minutes Swindon equalised with a penalty from Christian Roberts. It was awarded after Roberts had been tripped by Nicky Shorey in the box. The first penalty Roberts took was saved, but the referee ordered the kick be retaken. Roberts scored from his second attempt.
Ex Sheffield Wednesday player Paul Evans had a good game for Swindon, as did Ricky Shakes, and again like the Crystal Palace game Swindon look good, and have done well against a team from a much higher league.

Swindon now play a friendly against Swindon Supermarine on Tuesday with a 6.45pm kick off before travelling to Hartlepool for the first league game of the new season on Saturday.
