Swindon needed to pay the money before next week or be faced with shutting down, but the clubs major shareholder Sir Seton Wills, and St Modwen developers stepped in, and provided the money.

Swindon are losing nearly £1,000,000 a year, and this will carry on unless attendances improve, and the clubs gets a chance to expand by getting a new stadium.
