Swindon V Hartlepool at County Ground - Match Preview

Storey makes long-awaited return

Swindon's options for the visit of Hartlepool have been boosted by the return of Miles Storey.

The young striker has not featured since October due to a hamstring injury, but he has declared his fitness ahead of the visit of npower League One's bottom side.

Paolo Di Canio, who named just four substitutes at Colchester in midweek, only played Alan McCormack for the final seven minutes as the Irishman was ill but he is fully fit and available to feature.

James Collins could start after netting the only goal eight minutes after his introduction in midweek.

Troy Archibald-Henville (knee) and Joe Devera (hamstring) are still missing while Aaron Oakley could return to the squad after playing for Wales Under-21s.

Hartlepool manager John Hughes has hinted at changing his formation.

Hughes, whose side clinched back-to-back league wins for the first time since September 2011 last week, has no new injury or suspension problems, but could be tempted to switch things around in an attempt to nullify promotion-chasing Swindon's attacking threat.

Striker Steve Howard is still not ready to return following a hamstring strain, teenage defender Jordan Richards is struggling with a knee injury that has kept him out of the last three matches and midfielder Antony Sweeney remains sidelined with a similar problem.

Defender Darren Holden, midfielder Andy Monkhouse and teenage forward Luke James are all pushing for recalls as bottom club Pools bid to extend their unbeaten league run away from Victoria Park to four matches.
