Pair poised for Robins debuts
Swindon's new signings Danny Hollands and Chris Martin are set to be thrown straight into npower League One action when the Robins host Yeovil.
The duo, who have both enjoyed successful spells at this level in recent seasons, moved to The County Ground on loan from Charlton and Norwich respectively on Thursday ahead of the visit of Gary Johnson's men.
"They've got a great squad already with some great players so it's going to be tough getting into the starting 11 but I've come here to play football," Hollands told the Swindon official website. "Obviously the first thing I've got to do is try and get in the team."
Captain Alan McCormack is available again after a recent hamstring problem but Tommy Miller will be out for another five weeks and Alan Navarro and Fede Bessone will miss out again. Centre back Aden Flint will serve the third game of his four match suspension while Luke Rooney has joined Rotherham on loan.
Striker Paul Benson will not feature after joining Portsmouth on loan.
Yeovil's Reading loanee Gozie Ugwu is edging closer to a first team return but this weekend has probably come too soon for the striker.
The 19-year-old scored three goals in 12 appearances for Yeovil before picking up a hamstring injury against Portsmouth.
He is now close to a return to action after the injury cleared up and he returned from treatment at his parent club to take part in full training with his Yeovil team-mates.
Glovers boss Gary Johnson received a double injury blow this week with the news that two of his injured players will not play again until 2013. Lewis Young (ankle ligament damage) and Nathan Ralph (surgery) will not be match fit again until the start of January.
Yeovil travel to Swindon five places and five points behind Paolo Di Canio's men after they got back to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Hartlepool last weekend.
