Swindon's Future Unclear Again

Swindon need to pay a reported £600,000 to the HM Customs & Excise by the start of February, or they could face being closed down.

Swindon are hoping major shareholder Sir Seton Wills will help pay this. Swindon director Bob Holt said: "It is common knowledge that Swindon Town Football Club relies heavily on the support of the major shareholder, the Wills Family, without which the club simply not exist today."

Holt also said they expect to have the money by the end of the week, and they lack of money this season has been caused by a drop in home gates.
