On the pitch Swindon did well picking up a 1-1 away draw at Barnsley, then beat Tranmere Rovers 1-0, before losing 3-0 at home to Wycombe. At the end of the month Swindon drew away to Port Vale 1-1. A year later Swindon travel to play Port Vale again this Saturday.

Off the pitch. The County Ground had a new score board fitted, although it's rarely worked since. Andy King signed Jon Beswetherwick on a month's loan from Sheffield Wednesday, and Andy Gurney was awarded to player of the month award.
