This Time Last Year...

On the pitch Swindon had mixed success beating QPR 3-1, and Notts County 5-0, but they lost to Mansfield, Northampton, Colchester, as well as been thrashed 3-0 by local rivals Cheltenham Town. Swindon also picked up a 1-1 draw at home to their other local rivals Bristol City.


Off the pitch saw March 15th as being 34 years since Swindon beat Arsenal 3-1 in the League Cup final at Wembley. Andy King also signed Junior Lewis on a month's loan from Leicester City, and Danny Invincibile picked up the PFA Player of the month award for February.

On March 15th last year Swindon were 13th in Division Two, with 47 points having played 37 games.
