On the pitch Swindon were unbeaten beating Bournemouth 2-1, a 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday, beating Colchester 2-0, Notts County 2-1, and getting a 2-2 away draw at Blackpool.
Swindon spent the month on the egde of the play off places, and managed to stay in the play off for the rest of the season after good month's in both January and February.
Sam Parkin was being looked with moves elsewhere with Sunderland mentioned, but it never happened as he still at the club.
Swindon were also linked with a move for John Sutton, brother of Celtic striker Chris Sutton, but this also never happened.

Keith O'Halloran who last played for Swindon in September 2001 when he broke his leg finally left the club to return back to Ireland.
Jerel Ifil returned to Watford after completing his third loan spell at Swindon. It looked likely that he wouldn't ever return as Watford made it clear he wasn't for sale, however in the summer he signed for Swindon.
