On the pitch results started well, but got worse half way through the month.
Swindon beat Tranmere 2-0 and Brentford 2-1 before losing 2-1 away to top of the table Plymouth where nearly 2,000 Swindon fans made the trip down to Devon. It was the game when Rhys Evans picked on a back pass, then touched an indirect free kick, and let it roll into the back of the net, so it counted as an own goal. Swindon also beat Grimsby 2-0 and home, then lost 3-2 away to Wrexham before finishing the month off with 2 draws 1-1 against Barnsley, and 3-3 away to Port Vale, with all Swindon goals coming in the last half an hour, after they went 3-0 down.
Also during this month Adi Viveash went on loan to Kidderminster, and Swindon tried to get themselves a new stadium on the Shaw tip, but a year on this has all fallen through, and the club are now looking to rebuilt the County Ground.
Swindon signed Eddie Howe on loan from Bournemouth, and after a two month loan spell Sean O'Hanlon signed a two year deal to sign from Everton.
