On the pitch it was a mixed month as Swindon pushed forward for a play off spots, losing 4-2 away to Peterborough, then getting a 1-1 home draw against Bristol City watched by over 14,500 fans. Swindon have been lucky to get half of that this season.

There were also 3-0 away wins at both Luton and Wycombe before ending the month losing 2-1 at home to Oldham.

Swindon put up the match day ticket price by £2 to £23 on the day, which has been a major factor in the lower gate figures this season.

Off the pitch Swindon were still planning to built a new stadium in the West Swindon area, and idea which has now been scrapped.

Eddie Howe ended his loan spell at Swindon and returned to Portsmouth have never played, just sat on the bench.

Sammy Igoe was fined £800 by the FA for comments he made after the Blackpool game in January 2004, when he said he faked an injury which resulted in a Blackpool player being sent off.

Swindon managed to sell over 3,000 tickets for the final away game of the season against QPR, and were getting over 10,000 for most of the home games for the final few weeks of the season.
