On the pitch it was a mixed month starting off with a rare 1-0 away win against Colchester, before being beaten at home 1-0 bt Peterbrough United a week later. Swindon then had an away 1-1 draw against Blackpool, lost 1-0 to Leeds in the Carling Cup, and a ten man Swindon finished the month beating Bradford City 1-0 with an 87 minute goal by Sammy Igoe after Sam Parkin had been sent off.

At the start of the month Andy Gurney left Swindon to join Swansea City, he has now returned on loan after falling out of favour at the Welsh side.

Lloyd Opara left Swindon after only 6 weeks after failing to settle with life at the club.

Paul Mitchell joined on loan from Wigan, and Swindon tried and failed to sign Darius Henderson from Gillingham after he scored 4 goals in 5 games, but he failed to agree terms.

Mark Yeates returned to Spurs after his month's loan at Swindon, with Leeds Jamie McMaster joining on loan at the end of the month.

Sam Parkin was being linked with a move to Cardiff City, but this never happened in the end.
