King is hoping they will join the club for the start of pre season training which begins again on Friday. King has said that both players agents have agreed that they will sign.
Cureton is a 29 year striker who last season scored 5 goals in 21 starts for QPR, but back in the 2000/1 season scored 31 goals in 47 starts when he was with Reading.
Tony Thorpe is a 31 year striker who last season only scored one goal whilst on loan at Rotherham, but has scored between 14 and 23 goals for the four previous seasons while playing for Luton and Bristol City.
Both players have been signed as replacements for Sam Parkin who moved to Ipswich last week. King has set them a target of 25 goals between them, which looking at their past records they should be able to manage.
