"We've achieved a lot in our first year" enthused TrustSTFC Chairman Tony Norris, "As well as launching the Trust, we have raissed the profile of the Town fans, achieved significant concessions on the originally exhorbitant ticket prices, as well as promote football in the community".
"However, 3pm on Saturday is the time that is really important" continued Norris, " the team need to know that fans care about them as a football team, despite all the off-the-field issues."
"We know that some fans will be picking and choosing games because they struggle to afford the ticket price", continued Norris, "but we urge all fans to pick this opening game of the season to come and back the team, make some noise and help the team make a winning start to the season against Barnsley."
"We expect a very good atmosphere for this game as we expect the Town End, with its excellent acoustics, to be much fuller due to ticket prices" commented TrustSTFC Vice Chairman Andy Ratcliffe, "Hopefully a win and a great atmosphere will encourage people to attend future games."
