Andy King said: "A decision has been made and he will not be continuing in the role of assistant manager, and he has left the club."
For now Alan Reeves, and Ian Woan will both have an increased coaching role until a decision is made on if they should replace Walsh or not.
Woan has been working as youth team coach since he returned to the club last year, and he could still play if needed.
