Brezovan is currently on loan until the end of the season from Czech Club FC Brno, but Swindon were given first choice at signing him on a longer term deal.
Wise said: “As I've said, getting Peter would be a massive bonus for this club.
“He's an asset and he's someone that maybe in the future, if we don't progress, they (the board) could sell for a lot of money.
“I think it's whacking you in the face what they need to do really.
“Whether or not they wish to do it is another thing, we'll just have to wait and see on that.
“At the start there was panic about the goalkeeper situation.
“I think it would be the most respectful thing to do and – Peter will be back – it's the right thing to do.”
TrustSTFC's Red Army Fund could also help to fund the signing of Brezovn, but paying part of his fee or wages.
