The game finished 1-1 after normal time with Swindon's goal being scored by Ashan Holgate who scored with only 3 minutes to go.
With no score in extra time it went to a penalty shoot out which swindon won 5-3, with the penalties being scored by goalkeeper Matt Bulham, Doe, Wells, Holgate and Pyrde.
On Saturday Holgate came on as a sub for the first team against Huddersfield to play the final 15 minutes. Swindon's youth side also included other players who had played against Huddersfield including Ben Wells, Andy Caton, and Kyle Lapham and Michael Pook who both played on Saturday, and were both on the bench for the youth's.
The full Swindon team was Bulman, Pryde, Stroud, (Jutkewicz) Doe, Henry, Allen, Morris (Pook) Wells, Lewis (Lapham), Holgate and Caton.
