Accrington 1 Swindon 1

It was the first time in 47 years that the two sides had meet, so Swindon took a fairly large away following of 880 up to Accrington, the second highest away following of the season so far. The game was also delayed by 15 minutes as a new 4th official had to be found, so the game didn't finish until after the England game had started.

The game started slowly with neither side having many chances. Onibuje did come close for Swindon but his shot went over.

Accrington took the lead after 33 minutes with a close range goal by Andy Todd.

Swindon looked much better in the second half, and Onibuje once again came close to a Swindon equaliser, and Peacock had the ball in the back of the net, but the goal was disallowed for a foul in the box, and Accrington given a free kick instead.

On 67 minutes Lee Peacock finally equalised with another close range goal making it his 4th goal of the season.

Swindon pushed for a winner, but ran out of time. Overall a fairly average game, where a 1-1 draw was a fair result, although Swindon did seem to have more chancces than Accrington. Swindon's next game is at home to Grimsby next Saturday.
