Debutant striker Adebayo Akinfenwa was the toast of Boston as he helped the Third Division strugglers to a giant-killing LDV Vans Trophy win over Second Division Swindon.
The 21-year-old recruit, formerly of Barry Town, was on target in the final minute to settle an entertaining tie.
It took 14 minutes before the first chance arrived with Simon Weatherstone firing inches too high for Boston.
But two minutes later the home side broke through when Lee Beevers headed in from a Mark Angel free-kick.
Boston almost doubled their lead when a Weatherstone shot tested Bart Griemink, but Swindon equalised on 31 minutes when Steve Robinson stabbed in after Sebastien Ruster had pulled back a cross from the right.
Both sides then had further openings with Weatherstone and Akinfenwa going close for Boston and Ruster and John Stevenson replying for Swindon.
Swindon started the second half in positive fashion with close calls for Stevenson and Ruster.
Then in reply on 69 minutes visiting keeper Griemink pulled off a stunning close-range save to deny Weatherstone.
As the game entered its final stages Boston went close through Angel and Scott Brough, but in the final minute the home side grabbed their winning goal when Akinfenwa turned the ball in via a post from a Brough cross.
