In was a fairly quiet first half with the score going into half time still being 0-0.
But within a couple of minutes of the start Swindon had scored with a goal from Barry Corr from 25 yards out finding the back of the net to make it 1-0.
Swindon then thought they had doubled the lead a few minutes later, but it was ruled out after a foul on a Bournemouth player seconds earlier.
On 62 minutes ex Swindon player Jo Kuffour who had come on as a sub only a couple of minutes earlier scored from close range to make it 1-1.
