After a good few opening minutes Swindon fell behind on 11 minutes after a goal from Andy Williams after some poor Swindon defending.
Then a minute later it was 2-0, this time with a goal from Hughes after a cross from Williams.
On 34 minutes Kuffour made it 3-0 after a quickly taken free kick.
Swindon's hadn't looked too bad, and managed to hit the bar with a long distance shot from Billy Paynter.
The second half was more uneventful, although both sides managed to hit the bar again.
Overall Swindon didn't deserve to lose by 3 goals. It was mainly down to poor defending, and Rovers taken what few chances they had well. Swindon's next game is at home to Brighton on Saturday.
