Paul Sturrock made one change to the starting team against Bury with Jerel Ifil starting again back from suspension replacing the now suspended jack Smith.

The first half was poor, but Swindon did have a few chances with Blair Sturrock coming close more than once, but his headers went just wide.

Barry Corr went off at half time to be replaced by young Lucas Jutkiewicz. Bury went close to scoring at the start of the second half heading the ball just wide.

Swindon had a few more chances which they failed to put away and the game looked to he heading towards a 0-0 draw before on 85 minutes Jutkiewicz scored from inside the box with a powerful shot to make it 1-0. He was then booked for jumping from the pitch into the away stand.

Bury fought back late on with Phil Smith having to make a good save, and right on the end Bury had 3 corners in a row which their goal keeper came up for and he hit the post, but Swindon held on for the very important 1-0 away win. It was a fairly average game, but Swindon now only need one win from the final 3 games, or if Milton Keynes lose any more games then Swindon will be promoted during Walsall and Hartlepool.
