Robins too strong for U's
Swindon secured only their second league away win of the season after claiming a 2-1 victory at Colchester.
Marcus Bean's long-range dipping effort flashed just wide for Colchester early on, while Nicky Ajose's shot went just just past the near post.
The Robins took a 27th-minute lead through Ajose, who smashed the ball into the roof of the net after Sam Walker had made a fine diving save to push away Massimo Luongo's long-range drive.
Swindon's Louis Thompson nodded Elliot Lee's header off the line but the visitors were in charge at the break and doubled their lead barely a minute after the restart.
Dany N'Guessan stabbed home at the far post after Ryan Harley's low cross had sailed across the area.
Magnus Okuonghae's header from Brian Wilson's cross gave Colchester some hope with 12 minutes to go.
But Luongo hit the woodwork with a superb effort from 35 yards and Alex Pritchard fluffed a great chance to make it three for the visitors late on, as Swindon registered victory.
