Swindon came close a couple of times as well with Paynter going just wide. Paynter then got himself sent off after 74 minutes for clashing with a Crewe player. He was given a straight red card having already been booked earlier in the game as well.
Overall an quiet and average game. A draw was a fair result with little to pick from other side. Chances in front of goal was limited for both sides. Crewe had a very late free kick from just outside the area, but the the bar over and into the stand.
Swindon now travel to play Luton Town on Tuesday evening.
