Millwall 3 Swindon 2

Swindon took 2,200 fans to South East London for what started as a important game for both sides as both hoped for second place.

Swindon got off to a dream start when a Danny Ward shot just found it's way into the back of the net to make it 1-0.

However the lead didn't last long as Jonathan Douglas fouled Batt in the box. Steve Morrison took the penalty and sent Lucas towrong way on 14 minutes to level the score at  0-0.

In the second half the news came through that Bristol Rovers had scored and the winner of this game would go up. This news didn't last long as Leeds soon scored two quick goals.

Millwall took the lead on 62 minutes with a goal which has been given as an own goal by Gordon Greer.

Millwall then made it 3-1 to end any Swindon hope of getting second with another goal from Morrison on 73 minutes.

Swindon got a late goal when Paynter deflected  a long range shot into the net to make it 3-2 on 85 minutes.

Overall a good game, which turned into a nothing game towards the end as the result was no good to either side as Leeds were still winning. Swindon will now face Charlton in the play off's.
