After Oldham had missed a number of early chances by shooting wide they took the lead on 37 minutes with a goal from Alex Marrow who scored even though David Lucas was on the ground injured.

On 82 minutes Swindon were awarded a free kick 30 yards out which Jon-Paul McGovern took and scored to make it 1-1.Then 2 minutes into the 4 minutes of stoppage time Swindon took the lead with a goal from Billy Paynter.

Swindon's lead didn't last long as 3 1/2 minutes into stoppage time Oldham equalised with a fluke goal by Kieran Lee. His misplaced cross hit the post and went into the net to make it 2-2.

Overall a draw was a fair result as both sides had chances with Swindon hitting the post in the second half as well. Swindon are now mid table in 12th place with 5 points after 4 games.
