After starting fairly well Swindon fell behind to Peterborough goal by Tony Shields after 35 minutes with a close range shot.
Swindon then took David Duke off to be replaced by Danny Invincibile who had been dropped to the bench after he rejected a new contract deal.
In the second half Eric Sabin went down in the box for the second time, and the ref again refused to give Swindon a penalty, this lead to Sabin hitting out at the Peterborough player which then lead to a fight with half the team getting involved. Eric Sabin was then shown the red card.
Sub Danny Invincibile then put Swindon back in the game on 71 minutes Peterborough's Tony Shields who had scored earlier on let Invincibile take the ball round the posh keeper the score from a tight angle. The ball looked to be going just wide, but was helped in by a Peterborough defender trying to clear the ball away.
Later on in the game both sides had the chance to take the lead with Sam Parkin somehow hitting the ball over from only 5 yards when if he had just tapped the ball he would have scored.
Peterborough also had a late chance cleared off the line.
Overall the draw was a fair result, but Sabin shouldn't have been sent off, at most he should only have been a red card. Swindon now stay in 12th place, and next week are at home to bottom side Huddersfield who we have already beat twice this season, once in the league and already at home in the first round of the FA Cup.
