Swindon opened the scoring for spoil the party for the home side on 17 minutes. Swindon's goal was scored by Simon Cox with his 31st goal of the season from the edge of the box.
Craig Mackail-Smith equalised for Posh on 40 minutes with a close range tap in following a corner.
Their lead didn't long as on 42 minutes as on 42 minutes Cox had scored again. This was his 32 goal of the season, which spoilt his target as he had said he wanted to score 31 goals as they was his lucky number as well as his squad number.
Peterborough were awarded a penalty mid way through the second half after a foul by Amankwaah. However Phil Smith saved to the kick with a dive to his left.
Swindon looked to be getting all 3 points until 3 minutes into 5 minutes of stoppage time when they were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box. Keates scored to make it 2-2.
Overall a very good game to finish the season with Swindon finishing in 15th place which is the highest their have been since September.
