Rotherham 0 Swindon 1

Swindon made six changes to the side that lost 3-0 to Barnsley with Rhys Evans making his return in goal, and with Ifil, Gurney, Jenkins and O'Hanlon all suspended they were replaced by Jack Smith, Patrick Collins, Aaron Brown.

It was two poor sides playing each other, but Swindon were the slightly better side, and after a number of half chances took the lead deep into injury time in the first half after a goal mouth scramble Rory Fallon found the back of the net from close range after a pass from Jack Smith.
At half time one of the flood lights finally came on as it hadn't been working at the start of the game, and the game was at a risk of being called off with a quarter of the pitch having very little light.

Bouazza beat the Rotherham 'keeper on the edge on the box, but found there was no one at all to pass to even though it was an empty net. He crossed the ball in anyway hoping it will hit a Rotherham player and go in as an own goal, but the ball rolled away to safety.

Rhys Evans had to make a number of good saves to keep the score down, with Rotherham coming close to scoring on a number of times, with Shaun Barker coming close with a 76 minute header.

Christain Roberts also came on for Swindon in the second half replacing Jack Smith, but then Roberts was injured in the final few minutes of the game. Having used all of their three subs Roberts carried on playing, but couldn't make difference towards the game.

Swindon hang on to take 3 points with four minutes of stoppage time being added. This was their first away win since February when they beat Oldham 1-0, who Swindon play again next Saturday. Overall this was a fairly average game with two poor sides, and few good chances from either side. Swindon never looked like scoring a second, but it's an important win which now leaves Bristol City bottom, but they do have a game in hand.
