Dean Bowditch scored his seventh goal of the season to give Yeovil a crucial 1-0 win over Swindon win in their fight against relegation.
Terry Skiverton's side have now kept five clean sheets in a row and have picked up maximum points in their last three outings.
A howling wind at the County Ground made for an uneventful first half. Two Michael Rose free-kicks were well tipped over by visiting keeper Steven Henderson while at the other end Phil Smith saved twice from the dangerous Andrew Williams.
Swindon started the second half well but shot themselves in the foot after 57 minutes.
Michael Rose made a marauding run down the left wing but lost out to a challenge by Ed Upson in midfield. Rose reacted to the tackle by appearing to stamp on the Yeovil player and the referee had no option but to show the Robins left-back a straight red card.
Swindon's misery was compounded eight minutes later when the Robins defence let the ball bounce in their own penalty area. Sam Williams saw his shot from six yards palmed onto the crossbar by goalkeeper Smith but Bowditch was on hand to snaffle the rebound,
