After drawing 0-0 in August against Blackpool it was 0-0 in Saturday's return fixture at the County Ground, watched by a fairly good crowd of 5,766 helped by the reduced rate tickets.
Swindon were the better side to start with having some early chances in the first ten minutes, with on loan Petr Mikolando coming close after only 3 minutes.
Mikolando also missed an open goal on 11 minutes by somehow putting Rory Fallon's cross wide on the net.
Mikolando looked to have scored mid way through the first half with some Swindon fans thinking the ball was in the back of the net, but it had gone just wide, and into the side netting.
Pook, Fallon, and Bouazza also came close to scoring in the first half, but all Swindon's shot was cleared away by the Blackpool defence, or went wide. Swindon also had a number of corners but couldn't create anything from any of these.
In the second half Swindon had less chances, and wasted a free kick which they hit straight at the Blackpool defence.
Iffy Onoura made 3 subs early in the second half bringing on Brown for Mikolando, who later ammitted he blamed himself for not scoring. Holgate replaced Bouazza, and Shakes replaced McDermott.
Blackpool also came close to scoring hitting the bar with a 35 yard shot which Evans managed to get a hand to, and put out for a corner.
Blackpool did get the ball into the back of the net, but is was disallowed for offside, and they hit the post for a second time which was the closest they got to scoring all game.
Overall a draw was a fair result as neither side looked any better then the other, but maybe 1-1 would have been a better score line as both sides did have a few chances. Both Rotherham, and Bristol City both won, so Swindon will go into Christmas still bottom of the table.
