Around 29,000 Swindon fans made the trip to Wembley to see Swindon in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final for the first time ever, but for the second time in two years Swindon left the new Wembley with nothing.

Chesterfield had an early chance ruled out for offside after they managed to get the ball in the net.

For the rest of the first half Swindon played well, and had more of the ball than Chesterfield, but couldn't create enough chances in front of goal.

The second half has only just began when Chesterfield scored, which was an own goal from Oliver Risser from close range.

As the clocked ticked down Swindon ran of time to make anything of the game despite having around 60% of the play.

Just as the game looked to be finishing 1-0 and with 3 1/2 minutes of stoppage time play a long run from Chesterfield's Westcarr allowed him to put the ball past Wes Foderington to make it 2-0 and end all hope of a Swindon come back.
