Swindon made a terrible start to the game going behind aftre only 2 minutes to a James Brown goal.
On 30 minutes Hartlepool's lead was doubled when Andy Monkhouse, who use to play for Swindon scored. He was then booked for pointing to his name on his shirt back in front of the Don Rogers Stand.
Swindon rarely looked like scoring with Swindon's chances limited. Overall a poor game which saw Swindon booed off both at half time, and again at full time.
