In the second half Huddersfield were the better side and Chris Hay scored a poor goal from close range. Swindon were lucky after this as Huddersfield also hit the post.
Bart Griemink nearly let another goal in late on, after a long clearance was heading into an empty net, but Griemink was able to catch the ball just in time.
Swindon remain 12th.
