Swindon looked alot better this game, and things seemed to going well when they were awarded a penalty, which Charlie Austin took, but it was well saved by the Tranmere 'keeper, who had a very good game. Swindon also failed to score from the follow up as Tranmere managed to clear the ball away.

Tranmere hit the post, but the score remained level at 0-0 at half time.

Austin missed a number of chances in the second half, including hitting the bar, but couldn't score on what may well have been his final game in a Swindon shirt.

Overall Swindon were unlucky not to win as they had chances to. This keeps Swindon just above the relegation zone going into Saturday's game at home to Exeter City.
