New loan signing Andy Lonergan started in goal in place of Phil Smith. Jerel Ifil, Christian Roberts and Paul Evans also all returned to the starting team.

After a good start, and plenty of early chances Swindon took the lead on 32 minutes after a cross from Aaron Brown found Christian Roberts who scored with a rare header making it his 3rd Swindon goal of the season.

Then on 36 minutes Hereford equalised with a close range goal by Andy Williams. Hereford nearly took the lead a minute later but Andy Longergan was forced to make a good save.

Swindon had plenty more chances in the second half, with Roberts coming close, but they just couldn't find the back of the net.

Then on 81 minutes Hereford took the lead with Andy Williams getting his second goal of the game making it 2-1 to Hereford.

Swindon tried to get something from the game late on, but ran out of time. Overall with the number of chances Swindon should have scored, but it was Hereford who took their chances, and made it Swindon's second defeat of the week leaving them 4th in the table.
