The game looked to be heading for a 0-0 draw, which would have meant Swindon would had to have played Huddersfield three times in less than three weeks. Luckly for Swindon Andy Gurney put Swindon into the lead on 85 minutes after a cross from Danny Invincibile.

Both sides had a few chances with Huddersfield coming close three or four times. Eric Sabin also had a good game for Swindon puting in some good crosses which would not followed up in the box.

Overall the 1-0 was a good result for Swindon, as most fans would have settled for the draw after the poor game.
