Swindon 1 Notts County 1

Swindon's last two home games against Notts County have finished 5-0 and 4-0, but there was none of that form in this game.

The game was very poor, but Swindon took the lead after 19 minutes when defender and captain Sean O'Hanlon headed in a cross from a corner to make it 1-0 to Swindon.

Shortle before half time Swindon made the first sub of the game when Sammy Igoe was replaced by 19 year old Luke Garrard who has played well on Tuesday night against Bristol City.
In the second half Notts County looks a bit better than they had played during the first half, but Swindon or Notts County didn't have look that good in front of goal, and the game looked like it might stay at 1-0 to Swindon.

In the final 15 minutes of the game Notts County came back into it more, and looked like they might get an equaliser, and Swindon also had a few chances to score with Steve Jenkins finding his shot just going over the bar.

In the first minute of stoppage time Notts County did what they had been threatening to do and scored with a close range goal by Stefan Oakes from a corner which had been poorly defended by Swindon.

Overall a poor game that Swindon should have won, but a draw was an unwanted, but fair result as Swindon didn't look good at all during the game.
The replay will be next Tuesday 14th December where the winners will be at home to Middlesborough in the third round.
