9,426 turned up at the County Ground for what was the biggest attendance of the season so far, helped by the 2,500 or so Swansea supporters who had made the trip along the M4 from South Wales. The game was also delayed by 15 minutes to allow time for everyone to get in.
Swindon started well, but after 20 minutes they were reduced to 10 men as Barry Corr was sent off. Zaaboub was then taken off and replaced with Billy Paynter.
Swansea came very close to scoring with a shot that beat Brezovan, but was cleared off the line by Comminges and put out for a corner.
As the second half progessed Swansea seemed to be having more of the ball, and started to take advantage of their extra man.
Swansea came close to scoring a couple more times with Brezovan making a save of the season to just keep out another goal. Swansea should have scored when they managed to head the ball just over when it would have been easier to have found the back of the net.
On 87 minutes Swansea took the lead with Swindon having just saved one shot, but not cleared the ball away which allowed Tom Butler to score from 10 yards out.
Swansea then hit the bar and the ball bounced down and seemed to have crossed the line, but the Swansea fans didn't react and no goal was given, so it can't have crossed the line.
Deep into stoppage time Simon Cox was fouled in the box, and Swindon were given a penalty. Cox took the kick and sent the 'keeper the wrong way to make it 1-1 7 minutes into stoppage time.
Overall a good game and a draw was a fair result for ten man Swindon. Swindon now take a break from league action when they face Barnet at home in the FA Cup 3rd Round on Saturday.
